Shamanic Healing is an ancient, nature based, spiritual practice where a practitioner becomes a bridge between the physical and spiritual worlds. In Shamanism, nature is not a collection of resources, but a web of intelligent, living energy. Healers believe physical ailments, exhaustion, and anxiety stem from “soul loss,” a fracture in a person’s connection to their natural surroundings and inner self. Healing involves restoring this lost energy through ceremonies, plant medicines, and communion with the elements.

Known as the World Tree, in Shamanic terms, it is the central cosmic pillar that connects the three spiritual realms. The roots reach into the Lower World, representing the unconscious, the Earth, and ancestral knowledge. The trunk anchors the Middle World, representing our everyday physical reality and presence. The branches stretch into the Upper World, symbolizing higher consciousness, wisdom, and the divine. Practitioners “journey” along this tree to seek guidance from spirit animals and ancestors and to bring back healing powers. To facilitate healing, the practitioner alters their brainwaves, often through the rhythmic beating of a drum or chanting, to enter a Shamanic State of Consciousness (SSC). This heightened awareness allows them to bypass the rational, waking mind and interact directly with the spiritual and energetic blueprints of a client. Together, these Shamanic techniques get to the root of deep, hidden trauma, while Reiki acts as the grounding, nurturing force that sustains the healing for each client long after the session is complete.
